Spring Break Essentials

Spring break is a time of year that many students eagerly look forward to. It’s a chance to relax, unwind, and forget about schoolwork for a while. But to make the most of your spring break, you need to be prepared. Here are some essentials that you should pack for your spring break trip.

    1. Sunscreen: Whether you’re going to the beach, the mountains, or anywhere in between, you’ll likely be spending a lot of time outside. And that means you’ll need to protect your skin from the sun. Make sure to bring sunscreen with at least SPF 30, and reapply it regularly throughout the day. Our shop has a great one here.

    2. A Coverup: If you're planning some fun in the sun, you'll need a good coverup for walking from your room to the beach or pool. These can provide some relief from the sun while also being a fashion accessory. (You can even wear one over white pants for a stylish dinner outfit!). 3. Tote Bag: Having the right tote bag for Spring Break can make all the difference in your vacation experience. When selecting a tote bag, it is important to consider both style and functionality. Look for a bag that is spacious enough to hold all of your essentials, such as sunscreen, a towel, a book, and a water bottle, but not so large that it becomes cumbersome to carry. A sturdy material, such as canvas or nylon, is ideal for durability and ease of cleaning. Additionally, consider the design and color of the bag to complement your beach attire and match your personal style. A well-chosen tote bag can elevate your Spring Break experience and make your beach outings more enjoyable. Check out our huge selection of tote bags here.

    4. Comfortable shoes: Whether you’re planning on walking around a city, exploring a national park, or just lounging by the pool, comfortable shoes are a must. Bring sneakers or hiking boots for more active pursuits, and flip flops or sandals for lounging by the water.

    5. Portable charger: In today’s world, staying connected is more important than ever. But with all the photos, social media updates, and GPS usage, your phone’s battery can drain quickly. Bring a portable charger to ensure that you can stay connected even on the go.

    6. Water bottle and Snacks: Staying hydrated is key, especially if you’re in a warm climate or doing lots of physical activity. Bring a refillable water bottle so you can keep yourself hydrated without having to constantly buy bottled water. If you can bring snacks along for the trip, its a great way to save money and be prepared. Things like popcorn, nuts and protein bars are great on-the-go snacks.

    7. Entertainment: Whether you’re flying, driving, or just relaxing in your hotel room, you’ll want some entertainment to pass the time. Pack books, magazines, or a tablet with movies or TV shows downloaded for offline viewing.

    8. Cash and/or credit card: Make sure to have some cash on hand for smaller purchases, like snacks or souvenirs. And don’t forget to bring a credit card for larger purchases or emergencies.

Spring break is a great opportunity to recharge and have some fun, but being prepared is key. With these essentials in your bag, you’ll be ready to make the most of your spring break adventure.
