 The Polka Dot Press was born as a natural extension of my love of all things paper! I am that crazy girl who lives for Back To School Supplies, cute folders and personalized stationery. Oh, and I have a serious issue with Day Planners. Originally, all of our items were truely "handmade". This quickly became too labor intensive (picture a card with a holiday wreath made out of tiny little holly leaves that were individually punched by hand and multiply that by an order of 100) and I turned to playing around with software and my printer. Six years later, I have built a nice little business that has grown beyond my expectations.  In June 2011, we opened a storefront in Tallahassee... a place where we can create, sell and work with our wonderful local customers.
I am blessed to have the tireless help of my mom, Fancy Nancy, who is at work with me in the studio most days during the busy season. She is supportive to a fault and I just love having her around!
My husband is also a very supportive and patient man and he helps out when needed.
