The Polka Dot Press was started as a natural extension of my love of all things paper! I've been scrapbooking since 1999 and originally, all of our items were truely "handmade".  This quickly became too labor intensive and I turned to playing around with software and my printer.  Four years later, I have built a nice little business that I can do from home and work around my schedule.  I still pick my son up from school each day, help him with his homework and get dinner started...it's the best of both worlds! 

 

I am blessed to have the tireless help of my mom, who is at work with me in the studio most days during the busy season.  She is supportive to a fault and I just love having her around! 

 

My husband is also a very supportive and patient man and he is oh-so tolerant when I am doing shows every weekend in the fall.
